So, who is Eric Gunby, and what are some of his qualifications?

I am a 54 year young man of Nordic extraction (Welsh/American heritage), who has walked with his Lord for some 36 years now.  Jesus, the Christ, drew me to Himself in the summer of 1972, right after graduating from High School.  From my About the Author, in my as yet unpublished first full-length book, we read:

Eric Gunby currently lives in central North Carolina, in a large town named Burlington.  It is roughly halfway between Greensboro and Durham.  He was born and raised on Maryland’s Easternshore.

He has a fully-accredited B.A. degree (1976) in Religion & Philosophy, from Kentucky Wesleyan College.  Mr. Gunby’s OT Professor was Lee Beavin, Ph.D., Vanderbilt.  Dr. Beavin studied under E.J. Young, among others, and collaborated with Miller Burrows on Dead Sea Scroll projects.  He was a contributor to Abington’s, The Interpreters Single Volume Commentary.  Eric’s NT and philosophy Professor was the eminently well known and highly regarded, Dr. Thomas Rogers.  He had an STB and doctorate from Boston University (among other degrees) and did post-doctorate Greek language studies at Episcopal and Southern Seminaries in Louisville, Ky.  Dr. Rogers has a Greek language-tool book sold in Harvard’s seminary bookstore, Greek Root Words.  Mr. Gunby did graduate studies at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, in Wake Forest, NC, and at Western Conservative Baptist Theological Seminary, in Portland, OR.

Eric Gunby is an unpaid theologian.  Though never professionally employed as such, and somewhat rusty when first undertaking to do this book, nonetheless, being a theologian is his first best destiny.  Also, as a 37-year student of Complimentary and Alternative medicine (his father was an M.D.), Eric is a published writer on the subject, and considered by all who know him, quite knowledgeable on health, wellness and nutrition.  He has had feature articles in Canada’s health magazine, Common Sense, and in the glossy international leisure magazine called DIVERSION, a Hearst publication.  In addition to theology and health, his interests include ancient civilizations, pre-Columbian studies, early explorations, politics, law, music, and American History.
