After having lived my dream for less than three years as a missionary in Brazil, I found myself back in the United States due to lack of funds in 2003. After a difficult ministry in the American southwest that left me emotionally and spiritually spent - and ultimately financially bankrupt - I found my way back to faith and vocation through C.S. Lewis and N.T. Wright. Not terribly interest in “emerging church,” I find myself drawn to missional Christianity. Working now for AT&T Mobility and increasingly involved with the Brazilian Church of Christ in Newark, New Jersey, I hope in several years to find my way back to Brazil. |
