I consider myself a theologian who is on the journey. My journey has led me to Lebanon as a missionary researcher in search of a different way of doing theology for the sake of making an impact in the missionary effort in the Middle East.

I am a Korean. I lived the first 20 years in Korea, and next 20 years in the U.S. Now I am in Lebanon. So, I am keenly aware of the cultural elements in doing theology. During my journey, I have become aware of the weaknesses and shortcomings of doing theology in a traditionally western mindset with its heavy emphasis on linear analysis and objectification.

So I am in search of other ways of doing theology, and consequently, other ways of training leaders. This means that I must change as well. This may well mean that I must give up on the theologically idolatrous ideas of God which I have accumulated for years.
