I came across opensourcetheology.net several months ago and have been reading various posts ever since. I have finally decided to make my reading “official” and have created a membership.

I am a seminary student in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA). I am currently in my third year of four, meaning I am an intern pastor. The church I am serving is a mid-sized suburban congregation which has a strong lay-led ministry; truly a wonderful example for the church catholic. I use this website as one my learning tools and references for how to think theologically about the world in which we find ourselves. I have a deep passion for creatively wondering how the church can relevantly proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ in this time and place to a people who need to hear of God’s love.
