a comment about free will vs. sovereignty debate

It seems that the sovereignty, free will debate, though well-worth exploring, is ultimately beyond my mental faculties to fully understand or describe. The Bible concretely supports both seemingly contradictory concepts. Whatever way our belief concerning free will and sovereignty is fleshed out, our conclusion must stay true to the reality of both in Scripture. This will be difficult. In fact, I believe it is impossible. However, this dilemma is not unique. Equally impossible to understand are other, arguably more foundational, orthodox beliefs like the doctrine of the Trinity (how can there be one God and three separate persons that are each fully God at the same time?) and the nature of Christ (how can one Being be completely human and completely divine at the same time?). There are some things that we lumps of clay ultimately have to accept by faith whether or not we can ever comprehend them. As members of the Christian faith, we are called to believe.
