Re: What is the Narrative of Revelation?

Re: What is the Narrative of Revelation?

Duncan’s position on the correlations between Galatians and Revelation is indeed well-formulated, coherent and I admit, provoking. Eschatology is a HUGE component of Christian revelation (little “r”) and even, if not especially, preterist suppositions (theories? positions?? arguments???) are inherent to the discussion. Emerging theology? OK, that’s Andrew’s vision for this website. I find preterist ideas to be a valuable and probably necessary counterpoint to all possible eschatological insight.

Is it the “archeology of the NT” as somebody else (???) stated? I don’t believe preterism is any more archeological than any other eschalogical conclusions.

The actual truth will be quite exciting and I’m sure we’ll all be surprised at the simplicity of it all once Jesus reveals it to us. I’m picturing a collective “wow, I could have had a V8!!” moment.
