Re:Mission: Biblical Mission for a Post-Biblical World - A Book
That was a bit of ellipticism which got through unchecked. In the book, you quote approvingly (I think) of ‘The Well’ in Brussels using the small ‘g’ for ‘God’ as ‘characteristic of the emerging church movement’ (along with the emphasis on ‘drinking from the life of Jesus and journeying through life together’). What does ‘The Well’ mean by this way of presenting the word, and what do you think it signifies?
I don’t think I was questioning your belief that God is still God of the whole world - though I do think his role is diminished by the implications of your presentation.
I’m once again unable to get the image out of my head of you rigging up some form of internet connection to your laptop in the remote wilds of the rainforest. Thanks!
