Hi, Brandon. I don’t think Sailhamer’s argument is completely off the wall. I’m not sure I would go as far as to say that the creation narratives are about the creation of the promised land, but I do think it is reasonable to suppose that they were written from within the perspective of the microcosm - with Israel’s existence, sin and exile in mind.

Not sure when the book will be available in the US
